An ambulance car has been given to the Ignalina District Polyclinic
The Ignalina District Polyclinic has been given a present - an ambulance car. The leading pig raising company in Lithuania, "Saerimner", located in Kazitiškis eldership, Ignalina District, decided to donate this, about LTL 12 000 worth, special purpose Volkswagen car, though used, but in a perfect state, to the District Polyclinic. The ambulance car will be used in the Kazitiškis Medical Station.
Funds for the Krekenava Cultural Centre
The company "Pasodėlė" operating in Krekenava has provided support to the Cultural Centre of Krekenava Eldership of Panevėžys District. The support will be used for the purchase of dancers‘ costumes.
The repairs of Pagryžuvis House of Culture
The House of Culture situated in Pagryžuvis village, Tytuvėnai localities, Kelmė district, may be considered the biggest cultural purpose building in the whole Kelmė vicinity. Although cultural events take part there frequently, the building that was built long ago needs repairs and there is a shortage of funds for it. Fortunately, in Lithuania, there are still businessmen who understand the significance of the cultural objects to the community.
In 2006, the company "Saerminer" that owns the Pagryžuvis pig complex situated in the district provided financial support for the repairs of Pagryžuvis House of Culture, acquisition of new technical equipment as well as the roof works of the House of Culture.

VšĮ (Public Enterprise) Krekenava Primary Health-Care Centre received as a present an ambulance car. The company "Pasodėlė", which is located in Krekenava and is owned by the leading pig raising company in Lithuania, "Saerimner", and the Danish Give Rotary Club, decided to donate this, about LTL 12 000 worth, special purpose Volkswagen car, though used, but in a perfect state, to the Health-Care Centre.
Assistance in maintaining a Children‘s Day Centre
The problem of children‘s and youth‘s employment, organization of their leisure time remains very burning. Crimes, other negative actions are made when there is much free time and there is nowhere to use it. Therefore, it is very joyful that one of the most proactive persons of Pakruojis district, the Dean Ričardas Rutkauskas has established a Children‘s Day Centre. The company "Saerminer" has also contributed to the maintenance of the Children‘s Day Centre of the St. John The Baptist Parish of Pakruojis.
Contemporary dance festival, "Step dance", in Linkuva
A few years ago, the idea of organizing the Republican children‘s and youth‘s contemporary dance festival, "Step dance", arose in the town of Linkuva situated in Pakruojis district. This event was intended not only for the youth - by this, efforts are made to enrich the cultural and artistic consciousness of the community of the town of Linkuva considering the contemporary art expression. Due to the latter reason, one of the largest companies of the Pakruojis district, "Saerminer", has not remained indifferent to the educative objectives of this dance festival. Having received the request from the Linkuva Children and Youth Employment Centre to support their initiative that promotes sociality, the company‘s leadership has willingly allocated funds.
The mounting of a ground for roller-skates and skateboards in Krekenava
The members of Krekenava Youth Steering Group "Aukšta įtampa" admit that the idea of having their own ground for roller-skates and skateboards in a small Lithuanian town has been matured for a long time, however they have lacked some kind of push able to lead forward to the goal. With the help of Krekenava Community "Tiltas", young people filed a project for the European Union Fund Programme "Active Youth" that encourages tackling the problem of youth employment, and soon this youth project moved from the ideas onto work. The European Union Fund allocated less than a third of the sum needed for a roller-skate - skateboard ground that had cost over LTL 70 000. The Krekenava Community "Tiltas" with Sigita Rudienė ahead has come to help in looking for sponsors. The support of several thousand Litas from UAB "Saerimner" that constantly keep close neighbourly relations was used for fencing the roller-skate - skateboard ground to ensure the safety of the sporting youth.
New windows in the Nemunaičiai elementary school
As the heating, electricity are getting so expensive, schools are confronted with financial difficulties and are anxiously awaiting the first autumn frost. Nevertheless, not all heads of schools touch bottom. The Director of the Nemunaičiai elementary school, Rima Šustarevienė, which is located in the Kalvarijai Municipality, Mikališkės village, came to a decision to take the initiative herself and decided to ask for support for the school from the company "Saerimner" located nearby. The company agreed to help the school and about in a year, changed the school‘s windows into new ones. Therefore, severe Lithuanian winter is no longer so frightening for the pupils and employees of the school located in Mikališkės village as it used to be.
Rural festival in Jusevičiai village, "Under the mother country‘s limes"
In the middle of August, the community of the Jusevičiai village located in the Marijampolė district, Kalvarija Municipality, gathered together to celebrate the festival of fellow-countrymen, "Under the mother country‘s limes". While recalling the first festivals, their organizer, a resident of the Jusevičiai village, Danutė Giedraitienė, maintained that due to the shortage of money nobody then could even properly congratulate and award heroes of anniversaries of the small village. And in 2008, when the company "Saerimner" had supported the event, the festival of the small village became in fact the event that rallied and unified all the residents.
Cooperation with the Lithuanian Veterinary Academy
The Veterinary Institute of the Lithuanian Veterinary Academy that has the status of a research institution is known for applied scientific and expertise research. Undoubtedly, to carry out qualitative research and prepare their results, investments into the best-qualified scientists, training of their new generation are needed. The Institute makes every effort to make the young scientists‘ life more purposeful and active. The friendship of the Academy and the greatest pig raising company in Lithuania, "Saerimner", which has already earned the name of the socially responsible business, has become extremely significant in this respect. In 2008, "Saerimner" supported the organization of the international conference of the Student Scientific Association that took place for the first time in Lithuania.
The completion of the repairs in the Papilė kindergarten "Kregždutė"
The Manageress of the kindergarten "Kregždutė", located in the town of Papilė (Akmenė district), Marytė Bliūdžiuvienė, applied to the local businessmen for the support for the completion of the repairs of the pre-school education institution: the windows of extremely poor condition remained unchanged in the kindergarten‘s food block and speech therapist‘s room. However, as the Manageress herself says, there was little optimism in the hard time. The company "Saerimner" responded to the call for help. Later, the support was provided to the Support Fund of the Papilė eldership of the Akmenė district for the organization of the Papilė town festival.
Support for the football club Pakruojo "Kruoja"
The company "Saerimner" has provided financial support to the Lithuanian football club Pakruojo "Kruoja", which in 2009, is making its debute in the country‘s highest division, and thus, has contributed to the development of the football sport of the region and country.
Modern audio technology for the leisure hall of Jusevičiai
Various art collectives rehearse and hold concerts in the leisure hall of Jusevičiai in the Cultural Centre of the Kalvarija municipality: among them, four dance collectives, drama circle, satire and humour group, women‘s ensemble. Various events, concerts, discotheques for the youth, mass festivals are organized in the Centre. However, as Danutė Giedraitienė, who has been working in the Centre since 1990, maintains, the audio equipment available has already worn and does not allow ensuring the quality of the events that take place there. The company "Saerimner" decided to help the organizer of events and allocated the support of several thousand Litas for the acquisition of new equipment.
